One of the most distinctive features of the learning experiences at The Ranch is the involvement of resident animals. These animals are part of the education experience and the immersive nature of the programming.
Resident ranch animals that students may work with (program-dependent) include goats, miniature donkeys, dogs, and more.
Training time with the animals varies by course. Be sure to read the course descriptions and frequently asked questions (FAQ) to learn more about the amount of time spent training with the ranch animals. While longer courses always have training time, one- and two-day seminars do not (but you may visit with the animals!).
