We decided to mix things up by working with the alpacas while Ken Ramirez wore a carved pumpkin head. They've come such a long way in their confidence—completely unfazed by his festive look! The session was set up just like any other, but with a fun twist that also doubled as great desensitization training. 

When introducing novel objects in training, it doesn’t need to be this extreme! Trainers should start small—even something as simple as a different colored treat pouch can change the context. But for Ken, the alpacas, and llamas, who are seasoned pros with novel objects, this was a fun and rewarding challenge. Happy Training!
