LIVE FROM THE RANCH
Teaching Consent for Medical Behaviors with Training Demonstrations
EPISODE 11: June 11, 2020
If you already have a consent behavior, we'd love to see it.
If you don’t, consider training one. You could try a type of stationing, the bucket game, a chin rest, or some way for you to tell that an animal is ready to proceed.
- Show us the training or let us see it in use.
- Allow us to see an animal not give consent and you changing your plan.
- Be creative and demonstrate the concept of consent.
