You have never experienced skill-building this way! The Ranch Experience combines hands-on training sessions, training demonstrations, animal care, classroom learning (with a maximum of 12 students), and professional advice from industry leader Ken Ramirez for five days. Expect to develop and refine the specific skills needed to be the best trainer you can be.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
This course is eligible for:
- CPDT-KSA will earn 21 Knowledge and 15 Skills CEUs (36 total)
- CPDT-KA will earn 21 Knowledge CEUs
- CBCC-KA will earn 10 Knowledge CEUs
- 25 CEU credits from IAABC
- 25 CEU credits from Karen Pryor Academy
Students will receive information on the application process at course conclusion.
Because of the nature of the Course and small class size, cancellations are disruptive. If you book a spot, please make every effort to attend. If you do need to cancel, the following is our cancellation policy:
If you cancel…
More than 60 days from course start date
10% of the course fee will be retained by us and 90% refunded to you.
Between 60 days and 31 days from the course start date
50% of the course fee will be retained by us and 50% refunded to you.
30 days or fewer from the course start date
No refunds will be issued. 100% of the course fee will be retained by us; there will be no refunds to students.
To cancel, please click on the cancellation link contained in your confirmation email. No refunds will issued other than those listed in accordance with the policy above.
Requests to Transfer Registration
Transfers of registration to another student are permitted when requested at least 30 days prior to the start of the course.
A fee of 10% of the registration total will be charged, and must be completed prior to the registration transfer.
Transfer requests must be sent via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. E-mails must be received by midnight US Eastern Time (ET) (GMT-4) to be processed on that day.
