THE RANCH
A 13-acre working ranch and modern dog and animal training center.
Located in the Seattle/Tacoma area in Washington, The Ranch offers both hands-on and classroom educational experiences year-round, and serves as the training innovation hub for Karen Pryor Clicker Training and Karen Pryor Academy.
CLASSROOM
Designed for small classes and intimate workshops.
BARN
The cozy barn allows students to work with larger animals while protected from the elements.
TRAINING CENTER
A multipurpose space for dog and animal training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
One of the most distinctive features of the learning experiences at The Ranch is the involvement of resident animals. These animals are part of the education experience and the immersive nature of the programming. Resident ranch animals that students may work with (program-dependent) include goats, miniature donkeys, dogs, and more.
Training time with the animals varies by course. Be sure to read the course descriptions and frequently asked questions to learn more about the amount of time spent training with the ranch animals. While longer courses always have training time, two-day seminars do not (but you may visit with the animals!).
