Guest at The Ranch Workshop
SUSAN G. FRIEDMAN, PH.D. and KEN RAMIREZ PRESENT
Coaching People Effectively
August 23 - 24, 2025
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Engage in meaningful conversations and discuss complex scenarios that will result in a better understanding of how to handle even the most difficult situations. Practice your skills with the instructors and other workshop participants. The weekend will also include several opportunities to work with The Ranch animals; discussions and feedback practice will also occur during those sessions.
You will:
Learn how to provide constructive and helpful feedback in a positive manner or in a way that makes feedback easier to receive.
Learn how to adapt the techniques we know and use with our animals but find difficult to use with people.
Practice offering feedback in different contexts by watching others train The Ranch animals and providing meaningful and actionable feedback.
Learn the difference between “toxic positivity” and “genuine positivity.”
Learn about exercises you can do with your clients or your working teams that make the giving and receiving of effective feedback a fluent skill.
Learn how to have difficult conversations with people who work differently than you, and how to make those conversations productive.
Learn how to build and maintain trust.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn how to use positive reinforcement effectively with the people in your lives and become a better coach, mentor, and teacher.
Susan G. Friedman, Ph.D. and Ken Ramirez will combine their expert training, teaching, and presentation skills to provide an immersive, hands-on Guest at The Ranch two-day workshop this August.
