After 10 days at The Ranch, we introduced 4-month-old Kinder goats, Rhodie and Dobie, to the alpacas for the first time. Here you’ll see their initial reactions, followed by a structured training session, and finally all of the animals eating together.

We chose to introduce the new Kinder goats to the alpacas first, as both animals tend to be more reserved. Once they grow more comfortable, we will introduce Rhodie and Dobie to some of our more gentle goats one-by-one before they will meet a more assertive goat, and finally the rest of the herd.
